2024 NYC Web Fest Submission Rules and Guidelines
PLEASE NOTE: The Same Rules Apply for Web Series, Short Films, & Pilot Episodes (A “Pilot” is considered the First Episode of a Series)
2024 NYC Web Fest Timeline
Submissions for the Eleventh Annual NYC Web Fest are open from May 1st – August 31st
Official Selections to be announced in September.
Award Nominees to be announced in October.
Festival Dates: Friday November 8th, Saturday November 9th, & Sunday November 10th.
The Festival will include Screenings, Industry Panels & Awards Ceremony
Payments
All payments are due at the time of submission, no refunds will be given.
All entry fees are non refundable.
Submissions are paid through Stripe in US Dollars.
Payments MUST be completed at the time of submission – all entries that do not provide payment will be deleted within 24 hours.
Costs to Submit
Web Series
PLEASE NOTE: to be considered a Web Series you must have a minimum of THREE episodes
Short Form Series – Under 10 minutes per episode $80
Medium Form Series – 10 – 20 minutes per episode $90
Long Form Series – 20 – 30 minutes per episode $100
While the NYC Web Fest Programming Team reviews every Web Series episode, Creators will have an opportunity to request specific episodes to be considered.
Pilot Episodes (A Pilot is Considered the First Episode of a Series)
Short Form – Under 10 minutes per episode $75
Medium Form – 10 – 20 minutes per episode $85
Long Form – 20 – 30 minutes per episode $95
Short Films
Short Films – 20 Minutes or under $80
Additional Craft Categories
Once a genre of the above project has been selected, creators may apply to be considered for certain Craft Categories for an additional $10 each.
PLEASE NOTE: There are other awards categories in addition to the above, chosen by NYC Web Fest

Must be 18 or older to submit.
Web Series Must Have 3 or More Completed Episodes
(Maximum Length is 30 minutes per episode)
A Pilot Must Only Have One Episode
A Short Film is under 20 Minutes
Please provide a link to your project (YouTube, Vimeo etc) or a site of your choice.
Private links are allowed, but NYC Web Fest must be provided with a password for viewing.
Each Submission MUST provide a list of credits and short synopsis describing the series.
Please ensure you classify your project under the correct genre. In the event that the incorrect genre is selected, NYC Web Fest will be contacting the submitter for clarification.
PORNOGRAPHY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
You may enter more than one project, but a separate form and entry fee apply for each submission.
Non-English series must either be dubbed in English or have English subtitles.
All submissions must be the intellectual property of the submitters & must have permission for use of all content rights including music, contained in their Web Series, Pilot or Short Film. NYC Web Fest is not responsible for unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
No proxy submissions.
NYC Web Fest reserves the right to use all materials submitted including name of web series, pilot, short film, photographs, and video clips for promotional material/social media and presentation of awards.
All submissions will be judged based on the same criteria.
All selected entrants will be notified by email.
Participants of NYC Web Fest agree to not hold its employees, directors and representatives responsible for any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, injuries, illnesses and actions of any kind in connection with the event or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize.
PLEASE NOTE: All 2024 in-person NYC Web Fest Events will be in accordance to venue size and safety regulations. NYC Web Fest reserves the right to amend guidelines, selection criteria, awards, screening, and activities if necessary.

By Submitting to the NYC Web Fest, each participant is bound by the Official Rules/Guidelines/Terms.
